Hello, my name is Samantha… you may remember me. I am the original owner of Sarah Jessica Central. Daria has decided to step down and has handed the site back over to me. I missed working on this website so much! Over the next few days I will be organizing the site. Please excuse any errors. We will have new layouts and tons of updates coming soon! Please keep checking back for all the latest news and updates on Sarah.

Jon Robin Baitz’s new play, Other Desert Cities, opened at Lincoln Center’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on January 13. Joe Mantello has directed the production, which stars Stockard Channing, Stacy Keach, Linda Lavin, Elizabeth Marvel, and Thomas Sadoski.
Opening night guests included Laura Benanti, John Benjamin Hickey, Fran Lebowitz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Stephen Pasquale, Ron Rifkin, Fisher Stevens, Billy Stritch, Elaine Stritch, and Alfred Uhry.
In the play, a once promising novelist returns home after a six year absence to celebrate Christmas in Palm Springs with her parents, former members of the Reagan inner-circle, her brother, and her aunt. When she announces that she is about to publish a memoir focusing on an explosive chapter in the family’s history, the holiday reunion is thrown into turmoil.

Naked Angels will celebrate its 25th Anniversary as one of the most innovative theatre companies in New York with a spectacular Gala at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street). Naked Angels company members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. Conceived as an imagined history of Naked Angels – and promising to be bigger than all of the company’s previous parties put together – One Big Ball will be a frivolous and inauthentic romp through Naked Angels’ 25 years, written and performed by Naked Angels members, with many friends and surprise guests. Naked Angels company member and Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello directs the evening.
About February’s event, Sarah Jessica Parker said, “Matthew and I are thrilled to be a part of the Valentine’s festivities. Naked Angels has always meant a great deal to me and my family, and I look forward to celebrating this incredible 25 year milestone.”
February’s celebratory event will bring the company and guests back to the beginning. The year was 1986. Reagan was president, Top Gun was raking it in at the box office, and the Beastie Boys ruled the airwaves. And there, in the midst of it all, on a hot summer’s night, at a dive bar in Hell’s Kitchen, a group of young artists were sharing a drink (or two) and dreaming of a place-a creative haven-where they could develop provocative and groundbreaking new work… and throw some kick-ass parties, too. And by the end of the night, as the place was emptying out and last call had been given, Naked Angels was born.
One Big Ball kicks off with a VIP cocktail reception at 6PM, followed by dinner and performances at 7:30PM. Proceeds from the event will help fund Naked Angels’ ongoing new play development.

COED magazine recently put together a list of the 50 Most Popular Women on the Web, which was based on Google searches and statistics. Most of the list are women you would normall expect to be on such a list: Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Britney Spears to name a few. But there is one startling inclusion: Justin Bieber. So where did the obviously male singer rank on the (almost) all-female list?
The teen heartthrob actually cracked the top 10, taking the No. 7 spot on the list, just ahead of Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton. Not on the list is Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez. Well, that’s awkward.
So how did the singer end up on this list? We’re not really sure. More than 34 million results come up when you search his name, but still, Bieber isn’t a girl. We’re thinking this was COED’s idea of a joke. Too bad it’s a really old joke.
Here is the full list:
No. 50: Eva Longoria
No. 49: Scarlett Johansson
No. 48: Carmen Electra
No. 47: Tina Fey
No. 46: Adriana Lima
No. 45: Lily Allen
No. 44: Sarah Jessica Parker
