As the release of Sex and the City 2 comes closer, we are hearing more about it from SJP and the girls. Still very hush hush though! Check it out:

“This time around, Carrie has been married for a couple of years. She is about to publish her fourth book. She is content,” Sarah Jessica Parker teased. “She and her husband, John, have found a nice and modest apartment, and they are living their lives, and she is seeing her friends as much as time allows.”

If that seems a big vague, don’t worry, SJP said it was intentional. “I’m trying to set very low standards,” she joked.

As for Charlotte, SJP said she is still married to Harry and is “still comfortable with the name Goldenblatt.”

There have been alot of rumors going around lately about an upcoming Sex and the City 3. Looks like they are finally being put to rest.

On Wednesday, January 27, The Sun came out with report that the second sequel to this Sarah Jessica Parker-starring film has been worked on though “Sex and the City 2″ has yet to be released. “There is also a third movie on the go. It’s under wraps for publicity reasons,” a source told the U.K.-based site.

The third film was additionally reported being shot back to back in order to outrun the rapid aging of the franchise’s stars. “It makes sense to film the second and third movies back to back. The characters will look a lot younger on screen when the third movie is out in a couple of years,” the source further claimed. “They’re keen to look as young as possible because that movie will be their last. They want to go out on a high.”

Taking place two years after the end of the first movie, “Sex and the City 2″ will see Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw Preston and her friends bring their glamor lives to a place that is far away from their New York City homes. However, official plot for the film has not been unveiled yet.

Beside Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis will return to the upcoming movie to reprise their roles as Samantha Jones, Miranda Hobbes Brady, and Charlotte York Goldenblatt respectively. Featuring a cameo by Miley Cyrus, this drama comedy is set to be dropped in U.S. theaters on May 28.

Here is a little tidbit of the upcoming Sex and the City 2 film:

Sarah Jessica Parker has said that the upcoming Sex And The City sequel is a “romp” and a “caper”.

The actress told BBC Newsbeat that she hopes people will be excited about the upcoming romantic comedy.

Parker said: “I hope it’s worthwhile. It’s been going beautifully and it’s fun and exciting and very much an adventure.

“We’ve been shooting in Morocco for the past six weeks, we’ve just wrapped there. I still have some work to complete in New York but it’s been great and it’s really a romp, it’s really a caper this movie. I’m looking forward to people seeing it.”

She added: “[Director] Michael Patrick and I had a lot of conversations about whether to do a sequel. I think we just really want it to be good.

“We want it to be worth people leaving their homes for, we want to be worth the price of a ticket. That was the same goal for the first one and it kind of remains the same. I just want it to be good.”
