Sarah is on the cover of Fashion magazine’s Summer edition. I have to say, in my opinion this is one of her best covers yet this year. To view the cover, click on the image to the left.
On taking the gig as president and chief creative officer for Halstons accessible Heritage collection:
“I kept saying to them,‘This is a very unconventional approach, and won’t necessarily be looked upon as prudent thinking, and we have to prepare ourselves for that.’ I had to ask myself, Am I capable? I knew they were looking for a point of view, leadership and direction, and obviously great enthusiasm for the company and its potential.”
On dealing with the constant lens of the paparazzi and the pressure to look good:“It’s just a part of our lives, and there are days when it feels really intrusive, and days you—I wouldn’t say make peace, but you reconcile that this is what it’s going to be like. I generally don’t dress thinking that I have to live up to a standard. It’s just not practical. There’s no time.”
On how her famous alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw inspired her scent SJP NYC:
“I wanted to capture a freeze-frame in Carrie’s life. A snapshot of her walking down her favourite street in the spring, in a floral dress.”
I have added two new scans of Sarah and the girls in Entertainment Weekly. Enjoy!

You’ve seen the trailers, but what’s really going on in Sex and the City 2 (in theaters May 27)? The splashy sequel to 2008′s worldwide blockbuster picks up two years after Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Big (Chris Noth) finally tied the knot in a low-key city-hall ceremony, and finds the gals dealing with their share of grown-up concerns: Carrie is settling into marriage, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is struggling with motherhood, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) has a boss from hell, and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is fighting menopause. So when a wealthy potential client of Samantha’s offers to whisk them off on an all-expenses paid, five-star vacation in exotic Abu Dhabi, the gals pack their designer bags and hit the jet-setting road. Parker and her costars all rave about shooting in Morocco (which doubles for Abu Dhabi) — as does John Corbett, the only male cast member to shoot in North Africa. Corbett reprised his role as Carrie’s tenderhearted ex-fiancé Aidan, and needless to say, the other actors were envious that only he got to make the trip abroad.

Sarah is on the cover of June’s Marie Claire US edition, and her and the girls are featured in the magazine! Check it out:
“When you’re on set, you’re working 90-hour weeks, you’re never home, you’re exhausted,” the 45-year-old Sex and the City actress says. “There are times when all of us have been sensitive, and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don’t have nay regrets about how I’ve treated people.”
Co-star Kim Cattrall maintains that “the chemistry among the four of us is very strong,” So why have stories of enmity and infighting followed the cast since before the first movie came out, when Kim reportedly made a fuss about SJP’s salary being twice her own?
“Because the press has to put women in these boxes, rather than show them as the movie portrays them: working together and being powerful,” says Kim. “Things just have to be explosive for no other reason then for people’s imaginations.”
Cynthia Nixon adds, “It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. But the idea that we’re somehow adversarial is ludicrous.”
The magazine goes on stands May 11, and you can read the whole article here!

As we mentioned a couple of months ago, Sarah is the cover girl of Vogue’s May 2010 edition. She looks absolutely stunning!! This has to be one of my most favorite shoots of her ever. To view all the images click on the image to the left. I will add scans soon!
“It’s an exciting time at that company,” Parker says. “It has had some false starts that are well documented and it is relaunching itself. It has a wonderful legacy, and I couldn’t say no, and I’m…uh, figuring it out.” So figure this: How many hours are there in the day, Sarah Jessica Parker? “Well, there are 42 hours in the day,” she tosses back. “How many hours are in your day? We’ll see how successfully I manage this. I, you know, I don’t do movies all the time.” As she says of all her professional choices, “Does it scare me? Am I intimidated? Am I challenged? That’s kind of the way I’ve always made decisions. And luckily, the Halston offices are about a ten-minute walk from my house.”
